The Downtown Y and Westhills Y will be closed (including phone services) the following days: December 24,25,26 and January 1; On December 31 both locations will be available for reservations but will close at 1:00pm. Phone service ends at 12:30pm. The Downtown Y and Westhills Y will be open for reservations on all other dates.

The community centre has been at its 851 Broughton St. location for more than 50 years but sold the building to Vancouver-based Concert Real Estate Corporation for $21.9 million in 2018, with an agreement to allow up to seven years to relocate.
